Out of Homelessness…..Shelter Guests into Neighbors then into Friends

This is a picture of Roger and Tery Townsend telling their story at the Good Neighbor Alliance’s Shelter from the Storms of Life  fundraising dinner that was held on March 20, 2010.   They spoke about how Good Neighbor Alliance helped them transition out of homelessness and drug addiction.  They have just celebrated 2 years of sobriety.  Roger is now the Head Chef and Facilities Manager of the Knights of Columbus Banquest Facility.  Terry is  also employed by the Knights of Columbus.    On May 2nd they celebrated  their first wedding anniversay.
